2016-17 TRANSPORTATION FORM (PUBLIC AND NON PUBLIC)
FALL 2017-2018 NON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION REGISTRATION FORM
WHO NEEDS TO REGISTER?
All students are required to register for transportation annually. Students are eligible for transportation if they live one mile or more from their school of attendance. If your child lives under a mile from school, please complete the Transportation Registration Form as "walker". Once your registration form is complete and submitted, the Transportation Office will contact you by phone within in 2-3 days with the students bus information.
If you are new to the district, moving, changing schools, changing alternate pick or drop off locations, you will need to complete a new registration form. All requested changes must use the registration form process. This form does not serve as an address update form for your student's school record. Please also contact your school of attendance to let them know of any address or contact information changes. The Transportation Office will be process requests within 2-3 days of registration submission.
Winona Area Public Schools have elementary school attendance boundaries established. Students attending WK, Jefferson, Madison, Rollingstone, and Goodview must live over one mile from school and live or attend daycare in the respective attendance area. The district does not transport students to households or daycare outside of the attendance area for these schools and are allowed ONE pick up and ONE drop off location which is the same everyday, except if listed in and IEP or other legal court documents. Please call the transportation office with any questions.
Students attending non public, charter, Jefferson STEM and Madison SLIP are allowed transportation across attendance area boundaries, but are still allowed only ONE pick up and ONE drop off location which is the same everyday, except if listed in and IEP or other legal court documents.
Winona Middle School and Winona Senior High students do not have attendance area boundaries, but are only allowed ONE pick up and ONE drop off location which is the same everyday, except if listed in and IEP or other legal court documents.
