RE:  Important Information from the Minnesota Department of Health

Given the recent international news about the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, the public may have concerns about potential impacts to Minnesota schools.  While the risk of Ebola disease being spread in Minnesota is extremely low, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has prepared information for superintendents to help answer some common questions about Ebola.  Read letter to superintendents from the Minnesota Department of Health.

Additionally, MDH has created a Frequently Asked Questions document and Fact Sheet about Ebola virus disease, transmission, prevention, and more available on the Minnesota Department of Health website.  Please share this information with your school health personnel and administrators, and ask them to share with parents as needed.

For assistance with questions, please call the Minnesota Department of Health at 651-201-5414.
